TERRAIN, FORBIDDEN AREAS

All competitions will take place in areas not yet used for MTB-O. Till the competition, it is forbidden to use following maps for training:

Map 1197-2018 and 905-2009 Cirpstene. Map by L.Malankovs, P.Blumbergs, E.Zvaigzne, I.Peilāns.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ABOUT COMPETITION DAYS

June 27: Map size A3. Scale 1:15 000. Distance to start 700m. Distance from finish checkpoint to readout - 2km

June 28: Sprint race competition center - “Ventspils adventure park” Ventspils, Saules street 141 (57.375230, 21.548298). Map size A3. Scale 1:7500. Distance to start along marked route 700m. Finish near the competition center. WC in in Adventure park service house.

June 29: Start from 9:00 (start time changed!!!). Map size A3. Scale 1:10 000. Distance to start - 500m. Distance from finish checkpoint to readout - 900m. All classes, except S,V-14, S-60 and S,V-70, course printed on both sides of the map.

START ORDER

Starts intervals: extended middle - 2 minutes, sprint - 1 minute, middle - 2 minutes.

- 3 min. before start competitor clears and checks the SI card,

- 2 min. before start competitor stands on prestart line,

- 1 min. before start competitor stands on start line,

Control punching units wll work in touchfree mode up to 50cm distance

FINISH ORDER

After punching finish station on Day 1 and 3 competitors needs to go to readout at the finish of foot-o competition. On Day 2 the readout will be next to Ventspilds Adventure park.

PRIZE GIVING

The winners of each day will be awarded with prizes. In the overall, prizes are given in 1st-3rd place winners.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION AND RULES

The use of bicycle helmets is mandatory.
When moving on public roads, the participants of the competition must follow the road traffic rules. Traffic on public roads will not be restricted during the competition. Shourtcuts and off-track riding is allowed.
Competitors are responsible for their own health and safety. The organizers of the competition are not responsible for possible injuries and damages of the participants during the competition.
In order to inform the public about the event, photo or video recording may take place during the competition.

There are 3 deadlines for the entries (Price per all days / Price per day):

Entries after 16 June involve a + 25% surcharge on the third deadline entry fee if there are vacancies.
SportIdent AIR Rent is 5 EUR for three days, or 2 EUR per day. In case a SI card is lost or damaged, the competitors are obliged to cover the expenses.
